On many of the blogs I like to read one of the things that struck me was….a lot of us were making gifts for Christmas. I probably made more gifts this year than I have before…and I will try to make even more next year!
It is hard for me to give things I have made. I worry that the recipient won’t like it…and I have gone to the trouble for nothing! But, this year I put that aside…lack of funds can take care of worry and pride…and I made several gifts.
One of the things I made was inspired by someone on etsy that makes mice. The kids saw them and loved them…and I thought, “OOOH, I can do something like that!” So each kid, and grown ups too, got a mouse peeking out of their stocking Christmas morning! Here is a picture of 3 little mice playing in the blocks….they scamper around the house. I never know just where I will find them.

Cute but I can’t stand rodents
They scare me. Hope you and the family are good.
Allison and I made some of those mice, and a lot of other cute creatures too. We had fun doing it together.
