I am planning on trying to make a from scratch pumpkin pie this year…I have made the crusts before, and they are really good, but we have had a cinderella pumpkin gracing our counter since before Halloween waiting for the day I will cook it and turn it into a lovely pie. Lets face it. I am just a bit nervous. I feel like I will put forth the effort and it might taste lousy. Hmmm, ever feel that way? Well, I found this video link on Cooking up a Story that shows just how easy it should easy it should be to do. So, tomorrow I will try it and let you know how it goes.

I did that one year. It turned out pretty good. The pie turned out a little different then the canned but still good.
